Hi and thank you.
I builded 1 year my own PC, Specs:
CPU: Intel® Core™ i7-4790K ~4.0Ghz
RAM: Crucial Ballistix Sport 8GB (2 x 4GB) 1600Mhz
PSU: Thermaltake SMART M Series SP-850M 850W
MOBO: MSI Z97 PC MATE
WC: CORSAIR H80i
Since 6 months ago i was having a trouble: Sometimes when i was turning it on, it turned on and off repeatedly, the solution was: Remove the CMOS battery. 1 week ago a decide to clean it up, then i put everything back, and when i turned on, i got the problem, but this time removing the CMOS battery didn't work, i bought 12GB ram (1x8gb, 1x4GB Crucial Ballistix Sport @1600ghz), and helped me to understand what going on: Channel B (3 and 4 slots, counting from left to right) wasn't working right.
RAM in slot 1 only = boot
RAM in slot 2 only = boot
RAM in slot 3 only = turned on and off repeatedly
RAM in slot 4 only = turned on and off repeatedly
RAM in slot 1&2 only = boot
RAM in slot 1&3 only = turned on and off repeatedly
RAM in slot 1&4 only = turned on and off repeatedly
RAM in slot 2&3 only = turned on and off repeatedly
RAM in slot 2&4 only = turned on and off repeatedly
RAM in slot 3&4 only = turned on and off repeatedly
RAM in slot 1,2,3, and 4 = Boot (No display, keyboard and mouse were not lighting)
I tried:
Update to latest BIOS version
Clean slots with Contact cleaner (DeoxIT D5)
I don't know how to check voltage, etc.
Thank you so much

- Jun 08, 2016 2 Cars Sharing Supercharger - kW allocation. Submitted by tes-s on June 6, 2016. The 12 chargers are arranged in 4 banks of 3 because the input power is 3 phase. The banks can be switched to one car or the other of the pair. The first car will get 3 banks (75% of the power), the 2nd car will get the 1 remaining bank (25%).
- If your iMac has 4 slots, then yes you can have 2x2Gb and 2x4Gb for 12Gb providing you keep them in their pairs (2,2 and 4,4 rather than 2,4,2,4) and the spec of your new 2x4Gb match the memory the iMac can use. List your exact model and folks here can advise what type of ram you need.
- Oct 15, 2015 Hello, Speccy detects that my laptop has 4 RAM slots. After opening the back case and doing a little of reasearch on the internet also, my laptop seems to have only 2 RAM slots (Diagrams etc on the internet and the manual doesnt mention at all about.
- For example, you can have 3GB of memory in a PC with four memory banks. That’s two 1GB DIMMs in two slots and two 512MB DIMMs in the other two slots. Yes, you may end up throwing away memory to upgrade. If your PC is configured with 1GB of memory using 4 256 MB DIMMs and you want 2GB of memory total, you have to throw away all the 256MB DIMMs.
